Hello all and welcome to my blog. This is my very first blog and my very first entry. I would like to take this time to introduce the purpose of this blog.  I am writing about " Pookie's Playhouse" a children's boutique, located at 113 Rice St., Carson City, NV. We are a small shop that is locally owned and operated.

Pookie's Playhouse opened it's doors on June1,2012, with a grand opening celebration that included gifts for the kid's and a visit with TuTu the clown!

 At " Pookie's Playhouse" we are here to offer a green alternative to the overgrowing " box stores" in our community. We carry some new, some locally made and a wide selection of gently used clothing, toys, furniture and accessories, for boys and girls, sizes  0-5T. Our selection of gently used items are so clean you may think they are new and have been check for safety recalls. We are in our infancy but our plans are to carry more and more locally made items and items for moms like the handmade breast feeding covers we currently have. With this blog I hope to offer stimulating and educational links that are of interest to people who love and care for infants and small children.

We offer gift certificates that are great for baby showers and birthday's. We will be posting our Store Credit policy, How It Works, soon.
